Look out, I am here!

February 14, 2012

Where shall I begin? I have just written a book which I plan to publish as a kindle book to begin with. I am new to blogging so please be gentle with me!

I have lived in France since 2006 but we have been renovating our house since we bought it in 1996. We have great French and Breton friends in our small hamlet, and some lovely ex-pat friends who don’t live too far away.

There is a very good book called Vantastic France by Steve Bichard that describes very well, indeed, what it is like living here as an English ex-pat.

  1. Good to see you starting your Blog and look forward to downloading your book to my Kindle

  2. Thanks for your support, Sally, it’s much appreciated

  3. HI Lorna

Thank you so much for the mention. I am so glad you have started a WordPress site. I look forward to watching the progress of your novel.

I am sure you will get to grips with using WordPress, it is a great platform to launch your book. As you know we are all here to help each other, so you know where I am as I owe you a great favour for the fantastic review of Vantastic France. Which proudly sits on the back cover of the paperback, so you were in print even before your book!

Well done – you have worked hard for so many years that you deserve this.

    All my love
    Crispin – your son

  5. Charlie How permalink

It’s so inspiring to see how you have found something you enjoy and followed it through to this point! I hope Crispin will let me borrow his kindle so I can have a read!
    Behind you 100%!
    Lots of love
    Charlie x

  6. Thank you all for your lovely responses. I’m off to go swimming in a few minutes – when I return later I will explain why it’s not a good idea to let a Grannie lose with an iPhone!
